Nigerian Comedian Basketmouth has spoken out on the recent robbery of his family at gunpoint, expressing gratitude to Almighty God for keeping his family safe and alive.
The comedian and his family suffered the robbery in the early hours of Wednesday, as the robbers held them at gunpoint and made away with several valuables.
Fellow comedian Bovi made the incident public, adding that a report has been made to police.
Commenting on the issue for the first time, Basketmouth wrote this on social media.

Yes I was robbed, yes they made away with a lot of valuables…….the great thing is that they didn’t steal my sense of humour. Myself, my wife and kids were not harmed to we thank God for that. Big thanks to everyone that reached out, may God bless you abundantly.
