The biggest single off of M.anifest’s sixth studio album is ‘God MC’, the rap riposte he sent to Sarkodie in the midst of their hotly contested feud a few months ago.
‘God MC’ contained many lines of M.anifest staking a claim as lyrically untouchable in this country, and he has since backed it up with his words.
Speaking on Joy, M.anifest said he calls himself God MC because he literally believes that when he puts pen to paper, he simply has no match in this country.
“I now call myself as the God MC because when I put pen to paper, I’ve no match. Indeed, none of the rappers here in Ghana come close to me, and that’s why I now call myself the God Mc.” he said.
The singer added that his album, which he took two years to complete, is so good that if anyone does not like even one track on it, he’s going to retire from music.
“I took about 2 years to complete this album-this is my 6th studio album. If anyone doesn’t like any song on the album, he should tweet at me or call me, and I would quit music for good.” he added.
