Hip-hop Star Nas Dons Jacket With The Ghanaian "Gye Nyame" Symbol On It

Apparently, our musicians and politicians are not the only ones putting the name of this country on the International front. It looks like our traditional symbols have as thus found legs and are crawling to project Ghana’s name on a much larger platform.
Nasir bin Dara Jones, known by stage name Nas, is a multiple award winning American Hip-hop Artiste who started his music career in the early 1990’s. One thing we remember Nas for is his historic feud with Jay z but let just trash that away and delve into relevance.
Nas in a recent Instagram post is seen rocking one of our own “Adinkra” symbols, the “Gye Nyame” on his jacket with the caption “On my Hstry Shit! Hstry Jackets in works #hstry”.
What we do not know is whether the artiste is starting an African clothing line which features Ghanaian symbols or he has for a fact traced his roots to the country.
The “Gye Nyame” symbol literally means Only God.
