Pub CCTV Shows Young Couple Jumping Over Hedge to Avoid Paying Bill After Feasting on Steak and Wine

Police are hunting for a young couple who fled without paying after dinning at a restaurant in Bromeswell.
According to the Dailymail, the suspects, both in their twenties ran up a £150 bill after enjoying a cold meat platter, , chilled soup, T-bone and rump steak and chocolate pudding as well two bottles of Italian white wine, four liqueurs, three cognacs and sparkling water at the Unruly Pig in Bromeswell, near Woodbridge, Suffolk last Friday night but they managed to jump over a hedge and ran away clutching an unfinished bottle of wine when it was time to settle the bill.
Brendan Padfield owner of the place said the suspects arrived on foot at about 6:15pm and requested for a table outside.
He went on to say, “They were a relatively young couple”.
“They walked here from the Wilford Bridge [Melton] direction – across a verge, to appear as if they had come from the car park”.
“When they left, they went off in the other direction, towards Rendlesham”.
“They wanted to eat outside – and they ate rather eagerly. Uniquely, they stayed outside as others came inside when it became a bit parky”.
He said: “Their intention was clear. To leave normally, they would have needed to pass the entrance”.
“But they hopped over the fence and ran off with a bottle of unfinished wine”.
“It seems very improbable that they forgot to pay”.
The owner of the pub later tweeted to warn the suspects that they had been caught on camera and the CCTV footage was in the hands of the police.
The police have already started their investigation
