The Ghana Police Service are apparently getting ready to join the rest of the world in the 21st century.
The Service are getting ready to police the NDC’s Manifesto launch to be held at the Sunyani Coronation Park today (Saturday) – and reports from the venue indicate they would employ the use of drones to aid their efforts to maintain law and order.
The move is reportedly “part of its new strategy to engage in an effective and efficient political activity monitoring to quell electoral violence in the coming general elections.”
The NDC are holding thier manifesto launch today after numerous delays and postponements, all part of the cat and mouse Ghanaian game of ‘hide your manifesto so your opponent doesn’t steal your ideas’.
The NPP would hold its launch early next month.
