Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan got on the score sheet as his new club Al Ahli trashed Emirates Club 4-0 in the first game of the Arabian Gulf League season.
Gyan scored a spot kick he earned early in the game to set his side off on the way to the emphatic win.
30 year old Gyan joined the side on loan from Chinese outfit Shanghai SIPG, and has already scored his maiden goal in their Arabian Gulf Cup win last week.
Gyan was replaced towards the hour mark to applause from the fans.
