Hollywood power couple-Angelia Jolie and Brad Pitt are done with their marriage–as Jolie has filed for divorce to bring an end to their 2 years marriage and over a decade of relationship.
Angelina Jolie cities a conflict over the celebrity couple’s six kids as her reason for asking for divorce.
The 41-year-old actress’s lawyer Robert Offer said in a statement that the decision had been made “for the health of the family”.
He also said that Jolie “will not be commenting and asks that the family be given privacy at this time.”
Angelina filed the legal documents on Monday citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ and she is asking for custody of the children, reports celebrity gossip site-TMZ.
According to sources closes to the couple, Jolie’s decision has been sparked by the way Brad was parenting the children, claiming she was “extremely upset with his methods.”
There is no mention of any ‘third person’ in the divorce papers – the decision is solely about Brad’s ‘interaction’ with their kids.
Angelina Jolie is being represented by Laura Wasser–the same attorney who represented Johnny Depp during his bitter divorce battle with Amber Heard.
