In October 2015, girlfriend of actor Jim Carrey, Cathriona White committed suicide at the back of she being jilted by the actor. Though she blamed it on the actor in her suicide note, multiple reports confirmed that, the young lady hinted her suicide mission in several of her Twitter updates.
Now Jim who was one of the pallbearers at White’s burial is being dragged to court by White’s estranged husband Mark Burton. According to Yahoo, he filed the lawsuit against the Bruce Almighty star yesterday.
In the suit, he alleged that Carrey used his “immense wealth and celebrity status” to get the drugs the 30-year-old used to kill herself. He also revealed that Jim got the illegal drugs for her under the alias “Arthur King” and also “controlled and manipulated White” and “had the ability to monitor surveillance cameras on a home White often stayed at and was able, by design, to view the residence remotely to keep track of White’s comings and goings.”
The actor is yet to give his version of the story.
