Daddy Lumba netted a significant milestone Thursday when he turned 56.
The Ghanaian music legend received numerous well wishes and a lovely birthday party to mark the day, but surely none can beat the one handed to him by Lawyer Yaw Oppong.
A law lecturer at the Central University College, Oppong was speaking on Abusua Fm Thursday to commemorate the day when he heaped massive praise on Lumba. According to him, he’s one of the greatest music artists to ever live and as far as he’s concerned, he even deserves worship, after Jesus Christ, of course.
“As for Lumba, he is next to Jesus, he is second in command when Jesus is out, after Jesus and David he is the next person I would gladly worship because of his quality songs,” he said.
“As he celebrates his birthday, I wish him God’s blessings, and long life, I am encouraging him to churn out more songs mixed with gospel songs as he has been doing. He should remix his old songs, it is even done in Hollywood where their old movies are re-written such as Lion’s King,” he added.
