NPP flagbearer Nana Addo Danka Akuffo-Addo has, for once at least, beaten President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC at the social media game.
Nana Akuffo-Addo has all of a sudden become the trending man in the country as he’s inspired the #kalypochallenge -, an Ice Bucket like challenge that is spreading like wildfire.
The 72 year old opposition leader was photographed earlier this week taking a sip of Kalypo. The photo went viral as some mocked him for the photo whilst others said he was promoting local drinks.
The latter argument seems to have won out and the new craze in town is taking a photos of oneself mimicking Nana Addo. So far, A Plus and Anthony Karbo are some of the prominent personalities who have got on the craze, as well as lots of other Ghanaians.
