One of the many assault cases pending against boxer Braimah Kamoko, also known as Bukom Banku, has been thrown out of court by the trial judge.
Kamoko was standing trial for assaulting a woman, one Martha Nelson, in Jamestown in August – and was arraigned before court in one of many similar trials.
But this particular case, at least, has been thrown out of court. Trial judge Justice Stephen Owusu said that due to a request from the complainant that the case be struck out, he had no choice but to comply.
He said he was informed that the issue has been settled out of court.
Banku reportedly assaulted Nelson in August, and destroyed her phone as well.
