A hacker in Indonesia who tried being too clever by half is unfortunately in hot water, having fallen foul of some local laws in the extremely conservative Muslim nation.
The hacker, a 24 year old IT worker, was bored at work and decided to play a prank by hacking a billboard at a very prominent location and playing a p*rn video on it.
The video played for ten full minutes before it was picked up and power to the billboard shut down, although by then it had already caused great disruption in traffic.
The video was a Japanese p*rn flick known as ‘Watch Tokyo Hot’. He faces up to six years in jail in the country were pornography is banned.
He was arrested after state officers traced the hack, and would be charged with “publicly displaying a p*rn film and displaying a film showing indecent scenes.” according to the Daily Mail.
Video of the incident on MailOnline.
