And this song should surely make your list nine times out of ten.
Rapper M.anifest, generally considered one of the most lyrically savvy artists on the local scene, has eulogised ‘Kwame Nkrumah’, the pivotal song off of Obrafour’s icnoic ‘Pae Mu Ka’ album.
Writing on social media, M.anifest described the single as the greatest Ghanaian rap song of all time. He said after all these years listening to it still leaves him in awe.
There’s no doubt the single was a landmark song in Ghanaian rap history, and M.anifest is absolutely right to adore it. We’ll go one better and call ‘Pae Mu Ka’ the greatest rap album in hiplife history.
