I'm Not A Terrible Rapper Because I Do Hit Songs – Wack Rapper D-Black Seems To Have Never Heard Of Beats

The old, ‘if they buy my records I’m not wack defence’ – D-Black seems to have never heard of beats in his entire life.
There are many reasons why records become hit songs, and whilst ability on the mic is one of them, it’s far and away not the most important one at all.
Rap purists who like a song only for its lyrical content are very few, and usually the rhythm of a song carries more weight with the ordinary music lover than rap skills – that’s why Sarkodie is more popular than M.anifest and ‘Mercy Lokko’ was once a hit song.
D-Black is pushing back against the almost universally accepted truth in Ghana that he is a totally wack rapper, claiming that because he makes hit records all the time, he cannot be described as a terrible rapper.
“ I don’t understand why anyone would say I  am a terrible rapper because I do hit songs.  Vera, Personal Person, Kotomoshi, Carry Go  are few songs of mine that everyone jammed to and no one can dispute the fact that they are good songs” he told Showbiz in an interview.
“After recording in a studio, I am very much confident Ghanaians will love it and I have never disappointed as a musician. My lyrics are great and straight to the point and any good musician will attest that I am one of the best rappers”, he added.
