Rich Moore, a 33-year-old builder from Orpington, South London has been charged with criminal damage after he lost his temper and smashed his former girlfriend’s sex toy.
According to a Dailymail report, Moore destroyed the £30 ‘bullet’ sex toy and a pair of sunglasses belonging to his former girlfriend Sarah Mills when he went to her home to collect his things after the break-up.
Sarah complained to cops and Rich was charged with criminal damage over the July 6 incident, which he admitted at Croydon magistrates’ court.   The couple, who were together seven years, have two kids together and lived in Canada before moving back to London in 2014
Speaking to reporters after appearing in court, Mr Moore said,
“I was fed up. She moved another fella in pretty much straight away after I paid for her to go on holiday to Lanzarote.
“I’ve gone to get my stuff and I came across the glasses and smashed them. Then I found the dildo and I just ripped it up. It was one of those bullet ones.
“She loved the dildo more than me, that’s why I got the hump with it. I bought it, it cost me £30.”
 
Mr Moore described the case as ridiculous and a waste of taxpayers’ money after the hearing. Although he had admitted to smashing the sex toy and the sunglasses, he disputed the cost of the sunglasses claiming they cost £20 instead of Miss Mills’ report that they were £200.
He remains on conditional bail until October 19 when he will appear in court
