NPP flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has questioned the rationale of the NDC government building the Komenda Sugar Factory if they believe sugar is so bad, as they have been claiming the past few days.
Chief of Staff Julius Debrah recently knocked Nana Addo for sipping Kalyppo – the children’s drink which sparked a two week social media craze – saying the drink contained sugar which was detrimental to our health.
The NDC has tried several other tactics to discredit Kalyppo just for being drank by Nana, and the 72 year old has finally responded to all the negative responses he’s received.
Speaking in the Ashanti Region, he wondered why the NDC would set up the Komenda Sugar Factory and hype it so much if sugar was really harmful.
Nana Addo also outlined the NPP’s top policy priorities if they get elected into office.
