Black Stars midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is back in full training with his Italian side Juventus after returning from a knee injury that has kept him sidelined for the past few weeks.
Kwadwo picked up the injury in September and had to undergo surgery to the knee (not the first time), but has now returned to training with his club side.
Kwadwo, who was expected to make his comeback in November, has made an earlier than expected return, and joined the Bianconeri’s training session on Monday alongside teammate Giorgio Chiellini.
The Ghanaian international has played little for the Black Stars in the past couple of years due to his persistent injury woes, and could provide a real boost to the team’s chances of making the World Cup if he can stay fit this time.
Ghana faces a crunch away qualifier against Egypt early next month, with the team needing a win in hostile territory to get our campaign back on track, after a terrible 0-0 draw in the first group game at home against Uganda.
