Kevin Prince-Boateng Wants A Black Stars Return – Let's Just Give Him A Polite No, Thank You.

Former Black Stars player Kevin-Prince Boateng has started his usual world cup ‘apology tour’ so he can make a return to the team and get to play in another world cup.
Since ditching Germany for Ghana, Boateng has made it quite clear that he think the Black Stars is beneath him, and only entitled to his greatness on the world stage – it’s why he ‘retired’ after the 2010 world cup yet miraculously made a return just in time to attend the 2014 world Cup.
And now voila! Another world cup is on the horizon and here he is talking about a possible return – I opposed his inclusion back then and I still oppose it now.
Boateng, who now plays for UD Las Palmas in Spain, has made it clear in a recent interview that  he’s open to a return to the senior national team the Black Stars if called upon.
Boateng, alongside Sulley Muntari, were kicked out of the Black Stars camp in 2014 after various acts of indiscipline against both the coach (Kwesi Appiah) and the management team – neither has played for the Stars since.
But speaking to CCTV Africa, an unrepentant Boateng said if the chance came to appear at a third world cup, he would not turn it down. However, he still believes he did nothing to warrant being kicked out.
“It is for every player a big dream to play a World Cup. If there would be a chance to play a third World Cup I would not say no.” he said.
“There are not a lot of players who can say they played in three World Cups. But before this happens we have to have a lot of talks because I don’t want to go back with a bad spirit. If I would go back, I want everything to be perfect so we can work perfect together.”
Let’s all spare ourselves some heartache and just keep this mercenary off our team – they have enough problems as is.
