Coach Avram Grant Names 23 Man Squad For Must Win WC Qualifier Against Egypt – Captain Asamoah Gyan Misses Out But Dede Ayew Returns

Black Stars manager Avram Grant has named his final list of 23 players to commence training for the crunch upcoming world cup qualifier against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
The Black Stars take on the Pharaohs on November 13 in Alexandria, Egypt, and desperately need a win if we’re to get our qualifying campaign back on track.
Unfortunately, captain Asamoah Gyaa would miss out through injury, although deputy Dede Ayew makes a return after two months on the sidelines. Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah would also not be making the trip due to injury.
Two players, Rio Ave midfielder Alhassan Wakaso and defender Andy Yiadom of English Championship side Barnsley have received their debut call-ups into the team.
Ghana would pitch camp in the United Arab Emirates before departing for Egypt November 11, for the game to be played two days later on the 13th.
Ghana desperately need a win to get back on track after drawing goalless at home in the first game against Uganda whilst Egypt won 2-0 away to Congo.
