Marilyn Monroe's Estate Sues Lingerie Company

Marilyn Monroe’s estate has filed a lawsuit against the bosses of a lingerie company for using her image on their packaging.
The executors of the late actress’ estate claim an unnamed lingerie company are trying to profit off her fame by using an image of the sex symbol’s face on the packaging and tags of their products, which include lace panties and control underwear, according to TMZ.com.
They say they fired off several warnings to company bosses to stop selling the products because they are confusing customers into believing the underwear line has been officially licensed.
However, the executives allegedly continued to sell the items, causing the estate’s lawyers to file a lawsuit.
The estate wants to collect profit from previous sales, stop all future sales and to destroy all the current products bearing Marilyn’s image.
The Some Like It Hot star died in 1962, aged 36.
