Personally, I have not watched any Ghanaian movie this whole year–as a result of a self-imposed embargo not to waste my precious time watching these movies until things improved. World cinema is on fast rise and ours has become a big joke.
Therefore, I do not know any of the nominated movies–but I guess the annual Ghana Movie Awards must still be held no matter the industry situation.
For those interested, the nomination list of the 2016 MAG has been released and as usual, it’s the same names perched against new titles which perhaps involved recycled storylines and the same mediocre productions and acting we’ve become acusstomed to.

Once again it’s time for the most badly organised friends and family Ghana Movie Awards which starts 3-4 hours late constantly.p
The obvious talentless winners have already been selected by Fred so why bother to even watch. Mtcheww!!!

Joselyn Dunaa stopped chopping down dumelo. She is with Joey Gucci now so dumelo doesn’t push fred for joselyn to get nominations like before. John and Dunaa were joined in the groin but now levels have changed. Dumelo even ignored her totally on all his social media pages on her bday few moths ago (very unusual of john) but rather gave attention to that viper yvonne who publicly humiliated and disgraced him to Gh with that a$$ kisser saga and she said he will still come back to her. She was right. The f00! dumelo crawled back to her.
I also noticed that dumelo completely ignored dums on her bday which is unusual of him especially since they were tied to the hip and smooching in every corner some time back even though dumelo said he had a serious girlfriend then. The girlfriend must have been super human with love to tolerate such nonsense from both john and joslyn.
If Dumelo was not somehow pushed into this list by his gay lover Fred Nuamah, I will be very surprised. Majid and kalybos did a far better job than dumelo in amakye and dede but dumelo rather made the list. Kai!

How Can Dumelo be nominated over majid in the amakye and dede movie. Is GMA blind? You couldnt observe the vast difference in performance btn the 2 characters.

I lost respect for Dumelo after some of his distasful political utterances; but my shock was after he went on starr fm with Bola Ray and declared he and Yvonne are no longer close like before, only to jump back in her lap (just as she predicted he would) made me realise dumelo is a full blown !diot. Forgive yvonne ofcourse, but frolicking with her again? A so called best friend calling u a fool to the whole ghana. Everybody believed her because she knows u well enough to inform us that u are an a$$ kisser for real.
Where is Majid’s name for his role in amakye and dede which he did better than dumelo?

A show that constantly starts 3 to 4 hours late is not worth it plus its rigged to make matters worse. Its just a sad excuse for Fred nuamah who has no other job except once a year organizing a controversial show to award his buddies. #disgrace keke
