The President’s 58th birthday was never going to be complete without a message from his beloved daughter Mzbel, and that message can be read here.
The controversial singer, who has thrown her lot firmly behind President Mahama for this election, penned a message to the first gentleman of the land.
In it, she argues why the President deserves another term, claiming he is a reincarnation of Ghana’s first President, Dr Kwame Nkrumah.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY #JM
Sir, you are the 1st #Ghanaian Born #President, in 1958. Today is your #58th birthday, #Wednesday. Next week #Wednesday is 7 December. A day over 15 million Ghanaians voters will queue to decide which direction the country should go. Voters will have to make one choice. A choice between transformative continuity and destructive change, progression and retrogression, Visionary leadership and Missionary leadership, Competence and Cluelessness etc.
I can only pray that, Allah should continue to shower His bountiful blessings, mercies, guidance, direction and protection and above all long healthy life on you. You are simply an incarnation of Dr Kwame Nkrumah. All well meaning Ghanaians hold you in high esteem and we are proud you. I have no special birthday present for you but I have my God’s given thumb for you Sir and my PC on 7 December. All our wishes and presents will be of less significance to you, if we don’t demonstrate same love and affection for you on 7 December.
It is for this reason I entreat all patriots and like minded Ghanaian voters to simply say JDM Toaso on 7 December as our thank you birthday gift to you. God bless you Sir and grant you an emphatic one touch victory.
