Ghanaian boxer Emmanuel Tagoe was scheduled to fight Argentina’s Fernando David Saucedo but Saucedo pulled, which led the organizers-Baby Jet Promotions to re-arrange the bout.
Now, a stronger champion-South African boxer-Mzonke Fana is set to take on Emmanuel Tagoe in the ring on Friday, December 2, at the newly built Bokum Arena, Trust Emporium in Accra.
It’s not just that a more interesting fight is expected between Fana and Tagoe–also, Baby Jet Promotions has reduced the ticket prices to be able to get every boxing fan out there behind Emmanuel Tagoe as he takes on a bigger contender.
Patrons will now pay 150 cedis instead of 200 cedis for VIP and 50 cedis instead of 100 cedis for General Admission.
Also, there are special corporate packages for ringside which comes with refreshment.
Despite the price reduction, the IBO World Lightweight boxing thrill and musical extravaganza remain the same–perhaps even better, now that Mzonke Fana will be in the ring
As was previously announced, some of Ghana’s top musicians including Tinny, Stonebwoy, Becca, Jupitar, Wisa, Nii Funny and Kwaisey Pee have been hired to ginger the place with a musical extravaganza before the boxing kicks off.
It’s happening on Friday at 6pm—a perfect end of the day event for boxing or music lovers. And if you love both, then you’ve just won a well deserving ticket to a fun planet.
Already, the Mayor of Accra, Hon. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuje has said he will be attending. Several Ghanaian Celebrities are expected to attend alongside Ghana’s top political and boxing class.
