US President elect Donald Trump is a twitter freak – possibly the first head of state in the world who would be conducting policy on the social networking site.
Trump spends so much time on twitter, mainly attacking his ‘enemies’ (aka anyone who criticises him), and it has not stopped since he got elected; except now those he attacks includes other countries and businesses who piss him off.
In a current military confrontation between the US and Chinese navies over the seizing of an unmanned US underwater drone, Trump took to twitter to comment on it, as usual. But carefully reading the tweet exposes a huge mistake made by the incoming 45th President of the United States.
Can you spot the mistake?
Journalist Shaun King, who works for the New York Daily News, noticed the error and posted a screenshot of it on his facebook page. King, a strong critic of Trump, captioned his photo “The man just said “unpresidented”. We’d like to unpresident you Donald Trump.”
Trump’s tweets aren’t exactly paragons of grammatical conformism – twitter hardly lends itself to that – but this is a mistake on another level, even accounting for Trump’s less than impressive English skills.
At last check, the real estate mogul has modified the tweet, perhaps after being trolled a little for his awesome spelling skills.
