The younger sister of popular Nigerian celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji, Laura, is well on her way to marriage after her boyfriend of over a year, Ogbonna Kanu, proposed to her on Friday night.
It’s a marriage of the less famous siblings of famous stars, as Ogbonna himself is brother to the former Nigerian international Nwanko Kanu.
The marvelous proposal occurred during a private dinner ceremony, and was not without its moments of drama – Kanu pranked his intended when the first ring holder she got turned out to be empty!

Ogbonna then swooped in with the real ring and Laura excitedly said yes.

Hahaha I think I should take life more seriously. I couldn’t stop laughing, even after I got my beautiful ring, I was still laughing, shouldn’t I be crying or something. Hahaha Felt like a dream. Nothing beats marrying your best friend. Bestie bestie
