President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo sent out special shout-out on social media to musician/comedian A Plus after leaving him out of the congratulations he meted out on Sunday during the party’s thanksgiving rally.
The ‘Aben Be Bom’ hitmaker was one of the NPP flagbearer’s most ardent supporters during the election cycle, fighting his battles on social media and promoting him through his songs.
Yet when the President-elect thanked those whose strident efforts helped him win, including other celebrities who endorsed him, he somehow forgot the staunch Kwame A Plus.
“In the heat of the moment yesterday, I forgot to acknowledge the immense support Kwame A Plus gave to my campaign. He’s been a brick. I thank him and I’m really grateful.” his official account posted Monday.
Better late than never, I guess is the principle here.
