One spanking loss and they’ve all turned into philosophers! Prior to the election the NDC made it seem as if a loss was impossible, yet here we are and they can’t seem to deal with the loss.
John Dumelo recently talked about how God opens a door after closing one, and now Mzbel seems to be warning everyone about the danger of false friends.
We have a proverb for it in our local languages, something about ‘the ant that bites you comes from your own cloth’ – this is hardly a news flash, Mzbel.
In a post on Facebook, the struggling singer noted that not all those close to you are your real friends.
“Everybody isn’t your friend. Just because they hang around u and laugh with u doesn’t mean they’re your friend. People pretend well. At the end of the day, real situations expose fake people, so pay attention. ??”

Mzbel has been having a torrid time since the NDC’s loss and the subsequent backlash she received from NPP supporters. She initially fled social media, but has been making a gradual comeback in recent days.
If some fake philosophising is what would get her back on her feet, go for it.
