One Chief in the Ashanti region has found himself at the extreme end of politics for daring and deciding to be a polling agent for the National Democratic Congress in the December 7 general polls.
The Ankobeahene of Essienimpong in the Ashanti Region, Nana Ekon Ansa Boafo has been destooled, Graphic Online confirms.
According to the spokesperson of the Essienimpong Traditional Authority, Kyeame Kwasi Anarfi, the chief has been forbidden from performing any official traditional duty near or at the palace nor in the name of the palace or whatsoever.
Though Nana Boafo has verbally been informed of the destoolment, the traditional ritual of the destoolment will be performed after the funeral of the Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Serwaa Kobi Ampem.
