Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has long been known as an atheist but he has now revealed that is not the case anymore.
Zuckerberg replied to a query from a Facebook user about whether he was an atheist in the negative.
The question came after the tech billionaire posted a Christmas message on his personal page, wishing users a merry christmas from his whole family. But one person wondered why an atheist would send out a Christmas message.
“But Aren’t You Atheist?” user Jose Antionio asked.
“No. I was raised Jewish and then I went through a period where I questioned things, but now I believe religion is very important.” Zuckerberg responded.

He didn’t clarify what, if any, religion he has joined – but his wife Priscilla is a Buddhist and as he mentioned he was raised Jewish. What is clear though is that he says he’s no longer an atheist.
