Mzbel has penned quite a touching farewell message to the man she repeatedly called her daddy and campaigned for wholeheartedly, John Dramani Mahama.

The outgoing leader delivered his final state of the nation address earlier today (Thursday) and not long after, Mzbel took to social media to give her farewell address to Mahama.

“JDM – A CANDLE IN THE WIND It seems to me, you lived your life like a candle in the wind never knowing who to cling to when the rain set in.” she began.

An accomplished man on our land. In our contemporary politics, nobody had choked that feet. To me there exist a certain STAR on your birth. I yearn for your Presidency again

Mzbel stood firmly behind the NDC and Mahama during the electioneering campaign, often denigrating his opponent, Nana Akufo-Addo to do so. Eventually Nana won and she had to take a lot of flak from NPP supporters.

President John Dramani Mahama’s term in office ends January 7, when the NPP’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will take over the reins of the country.
