Black Stars goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey has joined Danish side Ik Brondby, the club has announced.

Kwarasey makes the move over to Denmark from Norway, where he was playing for Rosenborg BK.

Kwarasey signed a four year deal with Rosenborg last year, but has spent only six months before making the switch to Brondby.

“Adam Larsen Kwarasey switching from the Norwegian champions Rosenborg BK on a four-year contract. – We are very pleased to welcome Adam to Brøndby IF.’’ A statement on the club website read.

‘’It feels right, and I’m happy to come to Denmark’s biggest club. I am excited to get started already on Wednesday,” Kwarasey said of the move.

‘’I grew up in Norway, so Brondby is not unknown to me. It is the club in Denmark with the best fans. They create an atmosphere at the stadium, which is unsurpassed in Denmark, and it is really exciting to be a part of the whole atmosphere that’s around Brondby.’’ he added.

Kwarasey was supposed to be a part of the Black Stars team for the upcoming Cup of Nations, but was replaced last minute by Fatau Dauda after sustaining an injury.
