Nigerian comedian Basketmouth is one of the funniest people in the world, but he has made one joke online today that so far nobody is really finding funny.

The comedian, on his social media pages Wednesday, posted a photo of the outgoing US first family, adding a caption that has not been too popular.

Basketmouth seemed to imply that Obama should do what Yahya Jammeh is doing in The Gambia – the former leader of the tiny West African nation has refused to leave power after losing elections last year.

“Wow I wish Obama could go Gambian President on America right now…..” he wrote.

The little joke has not gone over so well with his fans, with many in the comments section vehemently disagreeing.

It’s just a joke, people should chill.
