Management of the late great highlife star Daasebre Gyamenah, Enas Multimedia, have waded into the ongoing legal controversy between CEO of Slip Music, Mark Okraku Mantey and rapper Sarkodie, calling on both to chill out and refrain from dragging the name of the late star through protracted legal disputes.

In a statement released addressing the issue, Enas Multimedia refute Mark Okraku Mantey’s claim that he has sole rights over the ‘Kokooko’ single, noting it is a shared rights between the producer and the artiste.

They add that Mark was on bad terms with Gyamenah before his demise and has been absent from all final rites held for him, and so he should stop pretending his actions are to further the interest of the artiste.

“We are therefore pleading with Mark to stop this hypocrisy lifestyle as if he was on good terms with our artiste before his demise. We want our artiste to rest his peace and to prevent further controversy”

The statement also expressed disappointment with Sarkodie, who like Mark was absent from his funeral and all final rites but is also using his most popular song for his own purposes.
