I’ll Still Sue Sarkodie After Asantehemaa’s Funeral – Mark Okraku Mantey

For years now, there has been a bad breath between Ace Music Producer/Programmes Manager of Hitz Fm, Mark Okraku Mantey and Sarkodie.

Tensions were heightened this year when Sarkodie recorded a new version of Daasebre Gyamenah’s ‘Kokoko’song, a content that was originally produced by Mark.

Mr. Mantey quickly went on a rant to disclose he will sue Sarkodie for using a content he produced without his permission. From developing issues later from the Management Daasebre and other heavyweight industry players, there were suggestions that Mark has dropped the case.

But speaking on Hitz FM  today with Merqury Quaye on  Cruise Control, Mark disclosed that, such suggestions have no iota of truth.

He said “The calls were actually back to back because I dropped this line and the other one followed. We were supposed to have met today [Wednesday] but I told them I would not be around because I’m going to Kumasi to pay homage to Asantehene,”

Mark who is also the C.E.O of SLIP music insisted that he is suing Sarkordie but that will be after Asantehemaa’s funeral…
