Rapper Clifford Harris Jnr, professionally known as T.I, is calling out some African American public figures for meeting with incoming US President Donald J. Trump.

Taking to social media to express his frustrations with those meeting with Trump, T.I said they were being used as part of an agenda by Trump to gain the support of the African American community after running as a racist demagogue.

Trump, since winning elections, has been holding a series of meetings with all sorts of people – including prominent African American figures such as Kanye West, Steve Harvey, civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr’s son Martin Luther III and many others.

T.I breaks down how he believes fit into Trump’s agenda to get the Black community back on his side.

“I’m gonna tell all you celebrities — black, white, minority, athletes, all of you — there’s a strategic plan that people are trying to make you a part of. So do not accept any invitation to have any meeting,” the rapper said in a video posted to Instagram.

“They seen how adamantly against him being president the hip-hop community and young black people in America was, so what do they do? They get Kanye West. He’s their representative. They listen to his music. They buy his shoes. They go see him in concert. Well, surely, we’ll take a picture with him. He smiles and he says he’s cool with it. He’ll fall right in line.

“You got black women. You know, they were against it. Well, who speaks to the black women? Steve Harvey. Let’s get him in here. He’ll take a picture. He’ll smile. He’ll say it’s cool. He’ll fall right in line.

“Kanye. What the f–k you doing? Steve, man you know way better than that, man. Jim Brown? Really? Martin Luther King? It’s yo’ goddamn daddy birthday, bro.” he ended.
