Okay Fm Presenter Abeiku Santana has said that his decision to come out and support the NDC would open the way for more presenters to openly support their preferred political parties without any fear.

Abeiku strongly declared his support for the NDC during the last election cycle and was even tipped for a parliamentary run but eventually did not go forward.

Responding to a message from a follower on his show who said she loved the show but hated he was an NDC person, Abeiku said he does not care whether he is loved or hated since what he did would pave the way for others.

“I don’t care if you hate me or not; very soon more radio presenter will show their faces to support their political parties because they were doing it in secret but now I have paved the way, so some will come out openly soon,“ he said.

He added a well known fact that they supposed ‘politicians’ meet together all the time to socialise.

“Last week I was with NPP’s National Communicator Nana Akomea at Osu having lunch; So sometimes, I reflect and I say ‘ignorant fools’ don’t ever meddle in political matters,” he added.
