Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri, the founding Editor of GhanaCelebrities.Com and BrutallyUncensored.Com has called the on-going social media campaign by friends of Socrate Safo, calling for the film-maker to be selected by President Nana Akufo Addo as the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts deeply ANNOYING and NONSENSE.

In a Facebook post, the writer said what Socrate Safo and his friends are doing is not lobbying, rather they are pressuring the power that be to select Socrate Safo to fulfill an agenda–pathetically making it seem Socrate will die if not appointed.

Small Creative Arts appointment too you people have taken it as some UN Security Council appointment. Don’t you people have life beyond government appointments and money?

Socrate Safo can serve the Arts industry far better without a political appointment–unless he’s looking for something else.

Ah!

Let me add that there’s a clear distinction between Lobbying Groups and Pressure Groups–the latter fits the activities of Socrate Safo’s people…
