Yesterday, GhanaCelebrities.Com wondered why Yvonne Nelson who seems to live in social media had said nothing about her Dad who passed away on Monday.
Due to the fact that Yvonne Nelson and her Dad lived like strangers mostly, with the actress always posting photos of her mother even on Fathers day, claiming that her mother did it all for–we said the actress was behaving as though she didn’t even give a hoot about the father’s death.
We expected her to at least have a word or two said about her father on social media–where she always has something to say.
Following our publication, Yvonne Nelson has now posted a photo of herself and the Dad on Instagram, saying, that’s one of the two photos she ever has taken with her Dad.
She wrote:
Rest In Peace Father ❤. This picture was taken on the 6th of this month…, i have only two pictures with my Father, and this is one of them…..so much I wanted to talk about…..so much I wanted to say…..but God knows best….I know you are in HEAVEN……I know we’ll meet again and talk about it all…..there were days I cried to my mum to bring me to yours……there were days I couldn’t wait to see you and talk to you just for a minute….I longed to hold your hand…..I longed to sit on your lap…..I longed for all of that……can we still do that when I see you in HEAVEN?? Can we start all over again?? Can we correct the mistakes??? I longed for you so much. I have nothing but love for you…….❤in His last days….he always mentioned God in everything he said…why?? Because there’s no one GREATER ?? sleep well father #MRNELSON
GhanaCelebrities.Com reported a few years ago on Yvonne Nelson and her father’s issue–saying, the father-Mr. Oko Nelson who used to live in Dansoman, just near the Mr. Biggs and owned Nellies Guest House in Dansoman was not there for the actress when she was growing up–so she totally blanked him.
We were told at the time that the father failed to take charge of his fatherly responsibilities with the mother having stepped in to make things happen–and that was why Yvonne Nelson totally ignored him.
According to a GhanaCelebrities.Com reader who at the time claimed to have gone to the same secondary school with Yvonne Nelson-Aggrey Memorial Secondary School in Cape Coast, Yvonne Nelson was mostly visited by her mother when she was in school—sort of indicating that, the father was not even interested in her education or played little to no role…
The sad part is, now that Mr. Nelson is dead, Yvonne for the first time is posting a photo of him–and claiming she loved him and wants to correct all the mistakes.
