Chairman of the vetting committee, Joseph Osei Owusu has disclosed to Joy Fm that, Mahama Ayariga’s bribery allegation against Boakye Agyarko was intentionally purported.

Talking to Joy Fm’s Parliamentary correspondent Joseph Gakpo minutes after the allegation lit a wildfire across media platforms, he cited that the Bawku Central MP forged the claim with an intention to “level the playing field” because Ayariga believes the nominee in a similar way has faulted Former President’s Mahama reputation.

Mr. Joe Osei Owusu emphasized that Mahama Ayariga has respectfully withdrawn the claim.
