A few days ago, GhanaCelebrities.Com reported veteran Ghanaian actor Emmanuel Armah was battling for his life at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

Though the illness he’s battling remains unknown, he was visited at the hospital by the Minister-designate for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Catherine Abelema Afeku together with several industry persons–who made donations to him.

Now, PressPeep.Com has reported that a source in the United States has told the publication Emmanuel Armah worked as a Security Guard in the cold weather at United States–where he returned from to fall sick.

“The source also believes that the veteran actor’s current ill state could be attributed to the nature of his work – he worked as a security office only at night. Though the place he worked had a shift system. Emmanuel Armah returned from the US a few weeks ago and has since been battling an unknown illness,” the website stated.

It’s a little worrying for a long-standing industry person like him to have gone to the United States recently to work as a Security Guard in conditions being described as bad.
