To some critics, this well describes them as some over hyped lucky dudes who had the chance to show Britain and Europe the interesting average music Ghanaians make and enjoy.

The duo announced with a tweet that, they are finally independent and it feels f#–right.

Judging from the hashtags, was Simon Cowell calling distasteful shots for them? Moreover, saying ‘finally’ gives us the forethought that it’s been long-awaited for and they battled for it.

Simon Cowell’s SyCo Music outfit is a large global entity and artistes signed under it will have some complex bureaucratic restrictions that can easily shutter their personal vision, though on the outside it looks very good to be on such prestigious label.
