Enyimba Fc goalie Abdul Fatau Dauda could be in line for a starting berth against Cameroon following Razak Brimah’s disciplinary issues.
The Black Stars take on the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the Afcon semi finals later tonight and numerous reports indicate the team could be in for a goalkeeping change.
Dauda has reportedly moved past Brimah for the number one position following the latter’s disciplinary issues.
Brimah recently made headlines when he uploaded a video hitting back at his critics laced with profanity. The FA later accepted an apology from him and fined him $2,500.
However, it seems his conduct has now cost him the starting place he has kept since the start of the tournament and thrusts the shaky Dauda back into the limelight.
Dauda was no.1 goalie for Ghana’s disastrous 2014 world cup campaign and was partially at fault for the goal that kicked Ghana out of the tournament, scored by Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
