Nigerian artiste Harrison Tare Okiri, trade name Harrysong, and his manager, Desmond Ike, spent Wednesday night in cells in Lagos following an ongoing feud with his former label.
The pair and Five Star Music, which used to promote the star, are embroiled in a bitter dispute that led to the artist getting arrested over the weekend following a report from the label.
He was released after giving his statement but both he and the manager have reportedly been re-arrested.
Nigeria’s The Vanguard says their arrest is on fresh charges, of “fraud, forgery and impersonation.”
Both are expected to be arraigned before court to be formally charged.
