Former President John Dramani Mahama has condemned the raid on the house of Kofi Adams that led to the confiscation of some vehicles.
Writing on social media, the former leader said such ‘unprovoked attacks’ on NDC functionaries must end.
The National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress-Kofi Adams confirmed on Asempa Fm that “some men said to be from the military, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) and national security on Wednesday confiscated five vehicles parked” in his house at Tema Golf City.
The vehicles included three pick-ups and two land cruisers.
“The unprovoked attacks on NDC functionaries and supporters are needless and must end.” Mahama wrote on Facebook.
“Yesterday the National Organiser of the NDC’s residence was invaded by security men from the seat of Government, the Flagstaff House in his absence, in search of vehicles when they knew very well they were on the wrong path. This must end.” he added.
