Veteran Music Producer, Mark Okraku Mantey who is rather known for being exceedingly strict and controversial, can only be made calm and quiet when he takes alcohol (only If Sarkodie knew this earlier).
Mark who is the C.E.O of SLIP music has told George Quaye, using drugs for any musical wise purpose, does not work equally for every body.
Talking on the Pundit about musicians and the use of drugs, Mark said “when Daasebre takes it, he becomes extremely dull, when Lord Kenya takes it, he is man on fire so it depends on the personality”
Mark who is also the Programmes Manager at Hit Fm told the Pundits panel, that he has a different experience of the impact of alcohol on him unlike many who will take little and start talking about their wives in bed.
“If I take alcohol, I become extremely slow, quiet, others take and start to talk about their wives and how they behave in bed”, he said.
Mark has been in the news lately for threatening to sue Sarkodie over remaking “Kokooko” without his permission, a song he originally produced for the late Daasebre Gyamenah but the duo have now smoked the peace pipe.
