A huge part of the past is coming back to this modern world, courtesy of Nokia, who are set to relaunch perhaps the most famous phone of all time, the Nokia 3310.
The 3310 was incredibly popular from the moment it was launched in 2000, and was a must have phone for years due to its durability and the strength of its battery, which has always been Nokia’s number one feature.
The company itself was overtaken by Apple and Samsung as the smart phone revolution occurred, and eventually had to be sold to Microsoft, but the company now holding the rights to the brand are attempting a comeback for the most iconic of their brands.
The new Nokia 3310 would be launched at the Mobile World Congress, which comes off later this month.
The plan, according to the Independent, is to pitch a near indestructible phone with a lengthy battery life – perhaps not your main phone but a second phone which can be used in case of emergencies.
I’m the years of dumsor makes us understand the utility of having such a phone!
