Actress Scarlett Johansson and her husband Roman Dauriac separated last year, but the actress suddenly filed for divorce Tuesday.
Johansson filed in court in New York City, asking for joint custody of their daughter Rose, and for the child to live with her.
Rose has been living with Dauriac for a while now whilst Johansson has been shuffling around due to her career, a lawyer for the Frenchman says, so the filing has come out of the blue and is shocking to him.

According to the lawyer, Dauriac would ask for full custody in court, and plans to take Rose to France after he wins – so that Johannson can see her daughter everytime she flies out there.
“Mr. Dauriac is tired of having to run his life and his child’s life based on Ms. Johansson’s shooting schedule,” the lawyer said.
Johansson recently made headlines when she said that monogamy was not ‘natural’ to humans. This is her second failed marriage.
