Legon Girl Committed Suicide Out Of Boyfriend Drama & Ill Mental Health – Friend Says

A 23-year-old final year student named as Jennifer Nyarko reportedly committed suicide Wednesday dawn by jumping from her fourth-floor room’s balcony at the University of Ghana’s Akuafo Hall.

The situation has raised an alarm of what may have pushed her to take her life and GhanaWeb via reaching a close friend of the deceased has discovered that, the deceased had a long relationship issue from the previous semester with some abnormal behavior that renders her as mentally ill.

The friend, who said Jennifer was her one year senior at High School but became her year mate in Legon after the deceased deferred her studies for one year, told GhanaWeb that “Since last semester, she always complained to me about who her boyfriend who she claimed is cheating on her but they didn’t break up, I also encourage her not to think about it too much.”

Jennifer was once a resident at the Alexander Kwapong Hall where her abnormal attitude was highly noted by course mates.

“…there were instances where she was seen carrying stones to class. That was when she was resident in Alexander Kwapong Hall’ the friend added.

GhanaCelebrities.com made some checks about Jennifer Nyarko on social media and came across her Facebook page. Her last written status which was posted on 25th November holds some evidence of a long thought suicide.
