Some Ghanaians can complain all they want about second lady Samira Bawumia’s dressing to the Independence Day parade and call it ‘un-Islamic’ or whatever, that’s their opinion. In ours, it was a classy attire beautifully worn by a classy woman.
And that wasn’t the first, nor would it be the last time, we see Samira slaying in the public eye. Her combination of beauty, grace, poise and intellect means she would be front and centre in the public eye for at least the next four years.
So get ready for more, not less.
In that vein, Mrs Bawumia was tapped to host the International Women’s Day edition of Joy Fm’s Super Morning Show, and once again she did a marvellous job.
Samira was not the only one on show at Joy Fm today – other powerful women tapped to appear on the show included EC Chair Charlotte Osei, Joyce Aryee, Mona Quartey and others.
We bring you photos of Samira and Charlotte Osei gracefully carrying out their hosting duties on Joy Fm – plus photos of the others who appeared as well.
Flip through to enjoy….
