All The FEMALE Stars Were There : McBrown, Becca, Mama Zimbi + MORE Joined The First And Second Ladies To Mark Int’l Women’s Day (PHOTOS)

International Women’s Day falls on 8th March every year and this year’s was truly marked in Ghana, with several prominent women spending the day in the public eye to show how far any woman can go.

To mark the day, a special event was held, spearheaded by the first and second ladies of the land, to celebrate the landmark day.

In the presence of other powerful female political leaders and celebrities, Rebecca Akufo-Addo and Samira Bawumia helped bring prominence to the ‘Be Bold for Change’ campaign, celebrating the empowerment of women – which the accomplished author Christopher Hitchens always maintained during his lifetime was the one sure cure for poverty.

Aside the top two ladies of the land, several female celebrities including Nana Ama McBrown, Becca, Joselyn Dumas, Yvonne Nelson, Lydia Forson, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Daughters of Glorious Jesus and countless others were on hand to help celebrate the event.

Also present were powerful political leaders such as former CJ Georgina Theodora Wood, chief of staff Frema Osei-Opare, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, Joyce Aryee, Charlotte Osei and many others.
